BELFAST – Jay Brown brings Americana roots music from his Black Mountain, North Carolina home to the Belfast stage July 6 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The multi-talented performer is known for his deep vocals, solid guitar work and bluesy folk approach with Appalachian to African influences.
Next up is the unusual and large Undertow Brass Band (formerly What Cheer? Brigade) from Providence, Rhode Island. Simply one of the most fun groups around, they get the audience marching, dancing, whooping and hollering — then begging for more.
Like all Belfast Summer Nights the show is from 5:30-7:30pm at Steamboat Landing Park, 34 Commercial Street, Belfast.
Concerts are free, thanks to generous community and business support. The July 6 Concert Sponsor is Belfast Coop! A hat also will be passed for free-will donations.
Bring a picnic and your dancing shoes! All are welcome.
Dogs are allowed in the upper listening area only (Front Street/Belfast Common Park). For more information and weather updates, visit Belfast Summer Nights on Facebook or Instagram or call 207-322-7123.
