Alice Limoges to lead youth songwriting workshop in Belfast

BELFAST — The Belfast Free Library welcomes singer-songwriter Alice Limoges on Monday, July 23 at 3:30 p.m. Alice will lead a songwriting workshop for teens as part of the Libraries Rock! Summer Reading Program.

In this workshop, teens will learn the basics of writing lyrics, chords and melody, and have the opportunity to perform what they've written at an open mic following the class. Alice will also give a short performance of her own music. The workshop is recommended for youth ages 11 and up.

Alice Limoges is a singer-songwriter originally from Rockport, Maine, and currently living, performing, and teaching in NYC. For more information about Alice, visit
