CAMDEN — Learn more about the Citizen Initiative to replace Central Maine Power and Versant with a local nonprofit consumer-owned utility, Wednesday, September 15, from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., at Harbor Park, in Camden (across the street from the library).
“Hear how this proposal could save Mainers billions, make our electric grid more resilient and reliable, and address climate change by decarbonizing Maine's economy,” said Our Power, a Portland-based group, in a news release.
Following the brief presentation will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
Representative Vicki Doudera and Senator Dave Miramant will be present.
Please bring a chair if you prefer not to sit on the grass. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
