Activities, exercise for those with chronic lung disease
Roe Chiacchio, RN, CPT, CDP will speak about daily activities and exercise for those with chronic lung disease at PBMC Pulmonary Rehabilitation Support Group on September 25, noon to 1 p.m., in the rehab education room at PBMC. All are welcome to participate.
Exercise has many positive effects and one of the most important is improving your lung capacity and delivery of oxygen and blood flow throughout your body, especially to your brain. Physical activity improves mobility and cognitive function.
The discussion will involve adopting lifestyle changes to address your limitation with pulmonary disease and improve brain health and quality of life. This is an interactive discussion, so take questions.
