CAMDEN — Tickets have gone on sale for an intimate acoustic performance by Luke and Will Mallett, of the Mallett Brothers Band, at the Camden Opera House, 29 Elm Street.
The MaineMadeMusic show is set for Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m. for the safely distanced 40-seats/one-set-only concert in the opera house’s auditorium. Safety protocols will be in place, according to the Opera House, in a news release; face coverings are required.
Advance tickets are $25 (encouraged) via camdenoperahouse.com and 236-3154 only, $35 day-of-show.
Now in its second decade, Mallett Brothers Band ranges from alt-country to Americana, country, jam and roots rock – a musical melting pot that’s influenced equally by the singer/songwriter tradition as by harder rock, classic country and psychedelic sounds.
As seating is so limited, given state health and safety mandates, Camden Opera House plans to stream the concert live on its Facebook page for those who cannot attend. Donations for the Community Arts Fund will be appreciated, according to the Opera House.
