UNION — The People’s United Methodist Church in Union will be hosting its Winterberry Fair again this year on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The Fair will be offering a variety of items for sale. Wreaths and bunches of winterberries will be ready for your holiday decorating. The baked goods tables will feature cookies, bars, pie, Finnish bread, yeast breads and rolls, fruit breads, candies, jellies and preserves.
Crafters have been busy filling the craft tables with hand-made items for wearing, home decorating and suitable for gifting. Book lovers can browse a room full of gently used books for children and adults, DVD’s, puzzles and games.
Everyone attending the Fair will receive a free ticket to enter the Door Prize Drawing for a chance to win one of four gift cards from local merchants.
Last of all, Lois’ Café will be offering breakfast and brunch items, as well as hot coffee and tea. Food can be purchased to eat in or to take home.
“We hope you will plan to visit the Fair, get some great things at reasonable prices and enjoy the festive atmosphere,” said organizers, in a news release. “The Fair volunteers will great you with a smile.”
Please note that the Fair is prepared to accept cash and checks for items, but cannot accept credit cards.
The Church is located at 21 Depot Street.
