2019 ‘BestLit Review’ seeks Midcoast writer entries

    CAMDEN — Eva Morris, of Bestlit Review, is seeking Midcoast Maine-based authors to present 10 minute performances of their noteworthy, unique, strong and sparkling fiction/non-fiction essay/short story/play or script excerpts within the theme of “What do you have to say?”

    All genres, except poetry, are welcome.

    Writing workshops will be offered over the course of the summer at the Camden Public Library.

    The top ten author selections will be published in this years 2019 Mid-Coast Maine ‘BestLit Review,’ and presented at a book release/author showcase.

    “Here is a fabulous opportunity to potentially be presented to the Midcoast Maine literary community at a fabulous late-summer literary event, and published in an annual literary compilation, The 2019 Mid-Coast Maine ‘BestLit Review,’” said Morris, in a news release.

    ‘BestLit Review’ presented the original works of 10 Midcoast Maine authors in 2018.

    In addition to being published in the 2018 Mid-Coast Maine ‘BestLit Review’ compilation, Literary Gems Kit Remsen Aroneau, Vicki Doudera, Amy Lorry, Jeffry Slack, Lee Heffner, Richard Ogle, David Dayhoff, Eric Gabrielsen, Sandra Sylvester and Isabel Tutaine read their words during a book release/performance showcase held at Union Hall, in Rockport.

    BestLit Review organizer Eva Morris hosted 10 weeks of literary workshops last summer at the Camden Public Library.
