The Waldo Theatre will be offering a series of three Adult Acting Workshops on the first Saturday of January, February and March. The first workshop will be ‘Acting Essentials: Tackling the Monologue” on January 7th, 10:00AM-1:00PM. Led by Teralyn Reiter, talented Director, Actor and Playwright.

Designed for the curious, the beginner, and the actor looking to brush up, this 3-hour workshop will have students diving into monologues from well-known plays and discovering how to bring believable characters to the stage. Students will engage in fun, interactive games that will foster creative and strong physical choices, which are critical tools in performance and storytelling.

Sliding scale fee of $25 - $50. The Waldo is using a sliding scale in the hope to create more financial accessibility to our workshops. The Waldo believes that financial resources should not be the determining factor for folks that want to access arts experiences.
