Belfast’s Cold Comfort Theater presents a festival of short plays, May 24 and 25 at UMaine Hutchinson Center
Belfast, Maine — The University of Maine Hutchinson Center is proud to host six short plays presented by Belfast’s Cold Comfort Theater May 24–25. The works of six emerging playwrights will be featured both evenings.
The six plays and playwrights are “I Forgot to Knock” by Alyson Peabody; “Familiar” by Robert J. LeBlanc; “Bridal Rose” by Madeline Daly Puccioni; “Modern Theatre Critic” by Robert Thomas Noll; “PayDayus Ex Machina” by Chuck Smith; and “No Kind of Place” by Ilene Starger.

Cold Comfort Theater, founded in 1971, offers thought-provoking dramas, beautiful musicals, family plays and popular comedies. It features emerging artists and a strong focus on works that have stood the test of time.
