This year the Lenten fundraising project at the Second Congregational Church in Warren was to benefit Coastal Opportunities, “a private, nonprofit corporation whose mission is to assist adults with developmental disabilities to become participating members in the social and economic community of MidCoast Maine.”

Our Church has two members currently in their program, Leesa Carpenter and Jeremy White. On Sunday April 24^th , during services, deacon Gayle White (left) presented Jeremy White (center), and his mother Cindy Bland, with a check in the amount of $1500.00 to be presented to Coastal Opportunities. These funds were generously collected over the Lenten season from the church congregation. Jeremy was very excited to accept. 

Each year the Second Congregational Church selects a nonprofit as its fundraising project.
