THE SOUND OF EASTER

  Praise God, Christ has risen. Easter may be a yearly event, but the celebration of the resurrection of Christ who gave unto us eternal life is a daily celebration - through Him we have spiritual life the way Kingdom life is meant to be.

    Yes, the tomb is empty. The sound of joy is heard for all eternity for He now sits at the right hand of the Father “Far above all principality and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named” (Ephesians 1:21). We too are seated with Him in heavenly places, in whom we live, move and have our being - such is the resurrection power of the highest, our Lord Jesus Christ. 

    It is here in His presence that we know the joyful sound - He lives! I love what King David said, “Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They shall walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance. “Psalms 89:15).  It is here in His presence that releases the joyful sound of His victory in us and through us, “For in His presence there is fullness of joy” (Psalms 16:11).

   No wonder I am always erupting with the sound of joy!  Shall not the light of His glory that shines on our face and the joy of the Lord that is our strength, that broadens our smile ear to ear, testify daily that He has risen.

    Because He lives, our lives reveal the the testimony of His resurrection, the testimony that brings glory to God.
