There will be a reading of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th in Thomaston.

At 9 am on Sunday, July 4th, in front of the bell tower of the Episcopal Church of St. John Baptist in Thomaston, located on the corner of Main St. and Green St., there will be a public reading of the Declaration of Independence by Jan Gaudio of South Thomaston.  A ringing of the bell will follow.

This is a public event and open to all as part of our celebration of our country.
