Razor Burns and Razor Bumps are often mistaken for one another. They are both super annoying and can be very painful. But they are two separate conditions.

A razor burn is a skin irritation caused by shaving, it generally occurs immediately after shaving or when the hair is growing back. It can leave the skin on your legs red and inflamed, or with raised bumps. Razor bumps are most likely caused by friction from the razor and ingrown hairs. Razor burn symptoms may start fading within a few hours, but they could take 2 or 3 days to disappear completely.

Razor bumps are the result of ingrown hairs and occurs when hair is removed by other means, such as plucking or waxing and grows back at an angel. This causes it to turn back into the skin. Also known as pseudofolliculitis  razor bumps are small red bumps that may look like pimples. They make your skin look bumpy and feel irritated. When left alone to heal and given proper skincare, razor bumps typically last for about 2-3 weeks. However, severe cases can go on for months.

Laser is great to treat these issues..It can be a game changer for Men that have a lot of razor bumps on their face and neck....
