Did you wake up today and think-

Oh so pretty

Ohhh a lot of shoveling

It’s a great day to......

Dang I don’t have the supplies

Our latest blog is how to celebrate sustainably.  A sustainable holiday means you are conscious of and trying to create less trash while still enjoying family, friends, food and gift giving.  One thought was the importance of planning ahead and being organized.  I wish I had taken my own advice because today is the perfect day to work on projects except I’m missing a few key materials.  I love to put on the music and craft away.  One year everyone got hand knit socks.  Another holiday was reusable bags made from an old sheet.  There are lots of ideas out there.  On my holiday gift making list are reusable flannel face wipes, dog toys made out of old socks and shopping bags made from old T-shirts.  The sock and t-shirt projects are perfect for kids and I’ve added the links to our blog.

Happy Snow Day Everyone!
