New England Auto Auction™ Explodes into Two Days of Rare and Collectible Vehicles Crossing the Block

Don’t miss this high-octane, record-breaking car auction that delivers 230+ rare and sought-after vehicles to collectors and spectators from around the world. One of the most anticipated events on the international car collector scene -the 44th annual New England Auto Auction™.

Inventory is overflowing and one auction day is not enough! A special selection of no-reserve vehicles will be sold on Friday, Aug. 26, directly following the Automobilia+Collectibles auction. Automobilia features an unparalleled marketplace of rare automotive ephemera, collectibles, and memorabilia. Please Note: Due to the extended automotive inventory, Friday's auction begins at 11:30 a.m. 

The star of this year’s lineup is the rare 1966 Shelby Group II Mustang, built for legendary driver Ken Miles, and is estimated to be the top seller in the history of the museum’s auction.

Before the hammer strikes on the first lot, prospective buyers will have the opportunity to view the full inventory of vehicles during the NEAA™ Preview Week, Aug. 24-26. Register to bid or purchase spectator tickets at the museum.

Wednesday is the first day of preview. Doors open at 9 am for general viewing, with a special evening event of an after-hours BBQ+Preview. Browse the inventory and enjoy delicious local fare during this kick-off open house! With 230+ stunning vehicle consignments arriving throughout the week, this is the chance for bidders to get up close with their top picks! Registered bidders receive (2) BBQ tickets in their bidder packages.

This summer, our team has worked tirelessly to bring you an unforgettable auction experience at the Owls Head Transportation Museum offering a great lineup of sought-after cars and collectibles in a comfortable environment. While there are countless collector car auctions, the New England Auto Auction™ is driven by a mission to preserve and promote the history of transportation. As the museum’s largest annual fundraiser, the New England Auto Auction™ operates solely to advance that mission and provide essential funding for our year-round operations.
