Belfast, Maine — Paintings, fine furniture and sculpture, including a life-size carving of a golden eagle, created by inmates of the Maine State Prison in Warren are featured in the exhibit “From Behind the Wall 2.0,” June 4-Aug. 30 at the University of Maine Hutchinson Center in Belfast. The exhibit is supported by The Art Loft of Rockland, a nonprofit community art center.

Camden artist Dan Daly has taught and mentored painters at the Maine State Prison for more than two years.  Brian Reid organized a community outreach program to teach fine furniture construction in the Maine State Prison industries program.
