Help West Bay Rotary choose the best chili in the Midcoast. Local restaurants will serve up their best chili at the annual West Bay Rotary Chili Challenge and you can be a judge. You get to try them all and vote for your favorite. Net proceeds from the event will benefit charities and non-profit organizations.
Now that our Halloween activities are over it’s time to put away the candy and make plans to eat heartily at the Public Supper hosted by the John Street United Methodist Church, 98 John Street, Camden. The cost is $9 per adult, $6 for children under age 12. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Camden Area Christian Food Pantry.

Each year since 1987 the United Methodist Church in Camden, formerly at Monument Square and now at 98 John Street, has opened its dining room on the day the Camden Garden Club holds its home and garden tour. Once again this year, the general public, as well as those on the tour, will be treated to a buffet of tasty salads from 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday, July 19. Cost of the meal is $12.
