Each community is different in what and how you recycle.  You need to stop in and ask to get the real scoop.  Once I know if it’s trash or recyclable I can make a conscious buying decision.  My cardboard milk carton is recyclable in my town.  I cut away the unnecessary plastic pouring spout because it doesn’t belong with mixed paper.  And I grew up with cardboard milk cartons and know how to open and pour plastic free.
