Camden Opera House Blue Café presents: Accordionist Marianna Filippi

Marianna Filippi, 25, received her Bachelors of Music Honors Degree in music composition from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales. Her musical language is inspired by the music of Maurice Ravel and Japanese film composer Joe Hisaishi. Marianna has always harbored a love of scoring for theatre and film and been commissioned to score theatrical productions including most notably the adaption of Lars Von Trier's film 'Dogville' performed at the Burton Theatre, and Bruce Guthrie's 'Man to Man', which premiered at the Welsh Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
Blue Café is a new intimate performance space on the 3rd floor of the Camden Opera House, showcasing performances you won’t see anywhere else! Doors open at 7 pm. Admission is always free (donations welcome), with bar provided by 40 Paper Bistro and Bar! Bring a friend.
