Big Brothers, Big Sisters’ New Initiative
Big Brothers, Big Sisters launches a new platform to continue to serve their children during this time of social distancing.
The loss of school attendance and social connections brought on by COVID-19 pandemic has hit the “Littles” served by BBBS particularly hard. To enable continued connections with their “Bigs,” who provide much-needed companionship and guidance to at-risk children, BBBS is setting up a secure, virtual Bigs and Littles platform called MentorNet. The system will keep Bigs and Littles connected and will provide case management to volunteers, children, and family members. The platform cost is $10,000 and they could use our help.
