Another encounter in Fernald’s Neck

I saw my first one on top of a bed of moss in the sunlight. These are Wee Folk, Irish fairies that have been transported to Maine, as far back as the Famine. They’ve made their home in our forests and oceans and every once in awhile, if your eyes are sharp, you’ll see them.
