Penobscot School's kitchen update is underway and will allow the school to comfortably and safely

continue to hold community events. The facility update will increase preparation and serving space, 

replace well-worn appliances, expand storage space with new cabinets, improve overall layout to

better serve students, instructors and guest chefs, redesign the floor plan for better work flow,

and meet current ADA, MUBEC and NFPA101 codes. Weekly language lunches open to the

community, cooking classes with an international focus, cultural meals prepared in coordination 

with area chefs and meals prepared by English Immersion students will be made more possible.
