The District 2 Little League 9-10 softball tournament opened Monday night in Waldoboro with the Medomak team taking a 19-8 four-inning mercy rule win over Oceanside. 

Medomak will take on Five Town Little League Tuesday, July 12 at Foster Field. Oceanside will play the loser of the Medomak/Five Town game in an elimination game. The championship game is set for Saturday, July 16 at 5:30 p.m.
