BELFAST — Belfast’s 21st annual Arts in the Park came to a soggy conclusion July 10, as the rainy weather caused a noticeably diminished crowd. Still, those who braved the weather, often wearing waterproof ponchos, were treated to the countless whimsical creations available the event.

Presented by the Belfast Chamber of Commerce and the Belfast Parks and Recreation Department, the event saw over 120 artists bring their wares to the downtown waterfront. In addition to the incredible selection of handmade items, the event offered live music, food, and an atmosphere of fun for visitors undeterred by the weather.

Those who came to browse may have arrived at the many tents a little soggier than planned, but they were greeted by smiling vendors and their remarkable creations. With thousands of intricate trinkets and works of art to explore, in addition to the always beautiful bay as a backdrop, the final day of the event still managed to be a resounding success.
