Bucklin, 60 of Belfast, died in Bangor August 15, 2017.  She was born January 25, 1957 in Belfast, the daughter of Ralph and Ann (Hills) Bucklin.  She graduated from Belfast Area High School and worked in several area restaurants.  Linda was a founding member of the Waldo County Search & Rescue and a member of the Belfast Cemetery Board of Directors.  Linda enjoyed traveling, camping and loved animals.

    Born in Hope, December 21, 1947, he was the son of Peary, Sr. and Glenys Hall Merrifield. Growing up in East Union, Peary was a 1966 graduate of Union High School. Following high school, Peary worked for several local farmers, learning the trade and running the farms. Later he worked at Cole Farm for many years where he sold hay and worked the farm.

    BELMONT — Travis C. Fenwick, 83, has gone to be with God and the angels after recently being diagnosed with colon cancer. He was born in Belfast, Maine on April 21, 1934 to Grafton and Charlotte Fenwick. Travis served four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the Franklin D. Roosevelt stationed at Norfolk, Virginia. Travis was the first of eight children. He was very fond of the game of golf and played it for over 50 years and became very good at it.

She married Earl T. Seekins at the age of 18 and moved to Searsport, where she lived for most of her life. She enjoyed crocheting doilies, tending her flower gardens, and farming the family’s crops, followed by canning their bounty.
