    JACKSON — Lee P. Kragh, 86, passed away on Jan. 9, 2017, at Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast. He was born in St. Louis Missouri to the late Carl and Leatha Kragh.

    Lee served an enlistment in the United States Army Air Corp, then went into the Navy. After serving in the Navy on air craft carrier Wright during the Korean War, Lee went on to be a licensed practical nurse and worked at Paul A. Dever State School in Massachusetts for 17 years.

    ROCKLAND – Priscilla A. Havener, 76, died peacefully on Jan. 12, 2017, following a period of declining health, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

    Born in St. George on Oct. 27, 1940, she was the daughter of Edward and Frances Harriman Curtis. Educated locally, she attended Rockland High School.

    In 1958, Priscilla married Wendall W. Havener in Rockland. For over 58 years they have been side by side, sharing the ups and downs of life.

Agnes attended University of Maine at Farmington for one year before beginning nursing school at Central Maine General Hospital in Lewiston. There she earned her registered nurse and anesthetist degrees.

    Rockland - Louis Stephen Alex, 75, died Jan. 5, 2017, at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Waterville. He was born Jan. 15, 1941, in Rockland, the youngest child of Albanian immigrants, Stephan (Stephen) and Constantina Mahil Luarasi Alex.

    Louis grew up on Orange Street in Rockland. He was a graduate of Rockland District High School. He enjoyed aviation, Civil War history, and listening to the music of Hank Williams Sr.

    Sue graduated from Gardiner High School in 1961, and from Sisters Hospital School of Radiology in 1963.

    He was predeceased by his parents, Julian B. and Helen F. (Bugay) Dembinski.

    Bob was born in Trenton, N.J., and then relocated to Hamilton Township.

    He attended the Hamilton Square Grammar School, graduated with the Hamilton High School Class of 1958 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Rutgers University, New Brunswick.

    BREWER – Eva Hazel Babson died Jan. 6, 2017. She was born July 25, 1921, in North Orland to Edgar and Lida Gray. She graduated from Springfield High School and was married to Claude H. Stinson from 1940 until he passed in 1986.

    Eva worked at W.T. Grants department store in Bangor for many years before going to work with her son and daughter-in-law, Myron and Sandra McLaughlin, at Campbell's Bakery in Brewer until she retired.

    ROCKLAND — Nine and a half hours into New Year’s Day 2017, Edward Daniel “Dan the Man” Flanagan Sr. completed his earthly journey at the age of 80. He passed from complications of pneumonia.

    His story began on June 15, 1936. He was born in Rockland, the second of nine children, to James and Eileen (Spinney) Flanagan. He was a 1954 graduate of Rockland High School, where he excelled in basketball and golf.

    Lisa Layton McKeeman, age 60, of Camden, died on December 20, 2016. Lisa leaves her husband Sam of Camden and son Colin, who now lives in Toronto with his wife Emma. Lisa also leaves a sister, Nancy, and her family in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

    Lisa went to Boston on December 5 as a matching kidney became available. All seemed to go well, with her expressing joy and euphoria at a new life and freedom. Complications set in resulting in her decline and eventual death.

    LeRoy Dana Trull, 79, passed away and took his last ride home on Friday, December 23, 2016. He was at peace with his family by his side and his beloved sister, Beverly, on the phone. LeRoy was born to Arlene Brush Trull and Lawrence Trull in Lynn, Mass., April 26, 1937. On December 25, 1942 the family moved to Unity where LeRoy helped his family run the dairy farm until 1976.

    Ellie lived in Camden several years before moving to Hartford, Connecticut, where she lived until returning to the Midcoast.

    Edwin J. Morton, obituary

    CAMDEN - Edwin Joseph "Skip" Morton passed from this life into the presence of the Lord on Dec. 15. 2016, at Windward Gardens in Camden.

    Skip was born on Vinalhaven on March 11, 1925, the youngest child and only son of Joseph Washburn Morton and Bessie (Fernald) Morton.

    From a very young age, Skip became a lobsterman accompanying his father and Uncle Frank Brown, lobstering out of Carver's Cove, Vinalhaven.
