    BELFAST — Marion Esther (Greeley) Whitcomb, 93, of Belfast, died on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Waldo County General Hospital.   Born June 15, 1924 in Morrill, she was the daughter of Senator Edwin H. and Katherine O. (Gurney) Greeley.    Marion attended the Morrill Village School, was a member of the Class of 1942 at Crosby High School, and received her Registered Nursing degree from Waldo County General Hospital’s School of Nursing in 1945.

    BELMONT — Ronald W. Spencer, 74 of Belmont, passed away March 12, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born on August 21, 1943 to Lillo M. and Gladys (Bragdon) Spencer.

    He attended Crosby High School in Belfast and graduated in 1961. He joined the Maine National Guard in 1962 and received Honorable Discharge. Ronald joined the Masons in 1968 and is still current with them.

    Ginger was born in Morrill, Maine on April 11, 1946 to Frank and Nadine (Thompson) Brown.

    Ginger lost her long courageous battle to Parkinson's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia on March 6, 2018.

    In 1963 she married Bill Heroux of Belfast and had three wonderful children Lynne, Eddie and Lisa. Her children were her pride and joy and they were always loved unconditionally.

    BELFAST — Doris Ruth (Kelley) Benner, of Belfast, passed away peacefully at her home on February 28, 2018. She lived a full life of 94 years.

    Doris was born on August 6, 1923 in Washburn to Percy & Blanche (Work) Kelley. She married the love of her life, Bill Benner, on November 27, 1941 and they enjoyed 71 years of marriage. She worked at Waldo Shoe until she and Bill opened their business, Benner's Auto Service, where she did the bookkeeping for 62 years.

    Woody was born in Caribou, Maine on September 16, 1928, the son of Forest P. and Faye (McNeal) Greenier, and he grew up in Presque Isle.

    He attended Ricker College, graduated from University of Maine and served as LT. in the Medical Company of the 187th Regimental Combat Team, in Japan and Korea, and then in The Reserves, where he obtained the rank of Captain.
