Zydeco music to fill Camden Opera House Feb. 4

Woof and roll with Matt Brown on the Chris Wolf Show

Sun, 01/31/2016 - 6:15pm

The original Wild Rufus was a good boy (and a great CD and record shop), but now a new dog is in town.

Manny's CD's, Vinyl and Other Cool Stuff sits at 25 Mechanic St. in Camden, next to the Bagel Cafe. Keeping with the tradition of naming a record shop after their dog, Matt and Karyl Brown have named the new shop after their 125-pound Bernese mountain dog, Manny. The shop is split into two, one housing Matt's business and the other side for Karyl's original jewelry designs.

Matt and Karyl will be the guests Monday, Feb. 1 on the Chris Wolf Show. They will talk about records, Wild Rufus, which Matt founded, and this Thursday's concert in the Camden Opera House with C. J. Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band with Maine's own Dolphin Strikers.

Monday’s show will be broadcast on WRFR Community Radio, Channel 7 Time Warner Maine Coast TV, and streamed live on mainecoast.tv/streaming, 8-9 a.m. EST.
