Schools have cancelled their days, which means sports games and practices are postponed, and municipal offices are either closing or delaying their opening until temperatures warm and the ice turns to an anticipated turnover to rain. The Belfast Free Library is closing at 3:30 p.m. today

The Lincolnville Town Office will remain closed today and will reopen Wednesday, Jan 25, at 8:30 a.m.

Penobscot Bay YMCA Weather Cancellations & Closures: All Youth Programs are cancelled. Child Care will be closing at 4 p.m. The facility will be closing at 5 p.m. 

Due to high winds and ice, the Rockland Harbor YMCA will be closed today, Tuesday, January 24. 

MVHS F/JV/V Boys @ Camden Hills has been ppd to tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan 25.  4/5:30/7.  Frosh 2:30 bus.  JV/V 4:15 bus
MVHS JV/V Girls host Camden Hills at 5:30/7 tomorrow as scheduled.
Today's school cancellation also affects Medomak Middle School Basketball Playoffs for tomorrow.  
The CRMS Concert tonight has been postponed to tomorrow night, which impacts 8th Boys and 7th Girls Semi-final games.

Wednesday, Jan 25:  #2 MMS 7th Boys vs. #3 Oceanside 6:30; 8th Boys will practice 2:15-3:45 and 7th girls will practice 3:45-5:15

Thursday, Jan 26:   #2 MMS 8th Boys vs. #3 CRMS 3:30  and #1 MMS 7th Girls vs. #4 CRMS 5 p.m. 

If MMS 7th boys prevail tomorrow, they will practice at 6:45 Thursday after the games.

There are no practices at MVHS or MMS today.

The Rockland Community Center will be closed today.

Tonight’s Camden’s Hills Regional HIgh School basketball game vs Medomak has been postponed to Wednesday due to poor weather.

All state Legislative sessions, public hearings and work sessions are canceled and all Legislative Offices are closed today, Jan. 24.

The Rockland Harbor YMCA's Child Care will remain closed today due to inclement weather and high winds.

Rockport Town Office will open at 10 a.m.

Owls Head Transportation Museum will be closed today. 

The Waldoboro Town Office is opening at 10 a.m.

The Knox County Administrative Offices will be opening at 10 a.m.

The Rockland District Court and Knox County Superior Court are closed today.
