Wilson A. 'Bill' Fish, obituary

UNION – Wilson A. 'Bill' Fish, 73, died unexpectedly Dec. 12, 2012, while returning with his wife from a visit with friends in Friendship.

Born in Dexter Oct. 21, 1939, he was the son of Robert and Delilah Engstrom Fish. He was educated in Dexter schools.

He married Shelia Parreault Gibbs in Union Dec. 31, 1998. The couple have since resided in Union.

Throughout his career Bill worked as a carpenter. More recently he worked at Lincoln Center for the Arts in Rockland, Thompson Community Center in Union, Prock Marine, Maple Lane Builders and R&R Construction.

Bill's favorite pastime was hunting and fishing.

He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.

Other than his parents, Bill was pre-deceased by one son, William Fish, in 2011. He is survived by his beloved wife; one son, Robert Fish of Derry, N.H.; his step-son, Rodney Gibbs and his family of Warren; a brother, Delmont "Delly" Colson and his wife, Janet, of Skowhegan; a sister, Beverly Dixon and her husband, Alfonse, of Norridgewock; one granddaughter, Beth Stuart, her husband Brent and their son Joey; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Bill's directive was that there be no services.
