William W. Kirby, obituary

William W. Kirby, 76, passed away October 8, 2016 with his loving family by his side.  Born in Fall River, Mass., to the late Norman and Martha Kirby, he grew up there on a farm before moving to and settling in Waldo, Maine. 

Bill was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.  He ran his wood mill where he made lobster traps and would spend the fall cutting firewood with his wife. They spent many winters together at their camp at East Grand Lake.

He was predeceased by his sister Zola Reed.  Surviving are his dear wife of 42 years, Joan Kirby of Waldo; his sons, William “Bill” Kirby III and his wife Lori-Ann of Waldo and Norman Kirby and his wife April of Montville; his grandchildren, Morgan Kirby, Crystle Leonard, Neil Kirby, Kendra Kirby, Saige Kirby and Olivia Kirby; his great grandchildren, Jack and Carter Leonard; his sister Wilma Woodruff and his nephews, Mark Reed, Scott Ferreira and Kevin Ferreira.
