AUGUSTA – William M. Butterfield, Jr. 95, proud veteran, went home to be with the Lord on Memorial Day, May 29, 2017, at Maine Veterans Home in Augusta.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, June 6, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Burpee, carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St. in Rockland, where a celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. Interment will be held Thursday, June 8, at 10 a.m. at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Mt. Vernon Road in Augusta.
