Wilda L. Morse  90, of Warren, passed away peacefully June 24, 2017 in Damariscotta after a brief illness.

Wilda  was born on Vinalhaven January 2, 1927 to Donald and Jennie (Lawry) McLaughlin. She was a proud graduate of Vinalhaven High School.

She loved to play Bingo and do various crafts. She was especially proficient at crocheting, having made hundreds of items and enjoyed giving them to family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Morse, in 2014 and her brother, Donald McLaughlin.

She is survived by a son, Karl Merchant of Tennessee; granddaughters Kerry Merchant, Kathy Glapa; and great-grandson Daryn Glapa.

At her request there will be no funeral services.  Wilda will be laid to rest in the Sawyer  Cemetery in Warren Maine  with a graveside service to be announced at a later date.
