CAMDEN — They're Quack! The West Bay Rotary will hold its annual Duck Derby Saturday, May 28 in Camden Harbor. All are cordially invited to come watch as 3,500 rubber duckies are plunged into the Megunticook River on a madcap journey culminating in a daredevil plunge over the falls to the harbor! Based on the tide, the frantic feathered flock will be launched around 5 p.m.

There is plenty of time to get dibs on a duck to win one of 11 really terrific prizes, the first of which is a week's stay at the Vanderbilt Beach Resort in Naples, Florida along with $1,000 spending cash and a dinner voucher.

Buy your tickets online at rallyup.com/82c082 or West Bay Rotarians will be selling tickets at French & Brawn and Camden National Bank [by Hannaford] each week during the month of May, individually and on the day of the race. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20, with all proceeds going to support the community through local nonprofits and charities.

This event is made possible with the support of generous community sponsors including: Adventure Advertising, ASK ... for Home Care and it's affiliate Homeshare, Inc, Bangor Savings Bank, Camden Accommodations, Camden National, Downeast Toyota, Edward Jones — Ken Gardiner, Heal Accounting Solutions, McCormick Builders, North Atlantic Painting, Pine Ridge Carpentry, Rockport Automotive, Inc., Second Wind Music, Side Country Sports, Serendipity Fine Consignment, The New England Real Estate Co. & Wells Fargo.
