Waldoboro Police beat: Pilfered propane, OUI, drug possession

    WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 93 calls for service from Dec. 12-19. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt.

    Dec. 12

    Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident on Winslow’s Mills Road at 11:04 a.m. Joshua Clough, 20, of Rockland, was driving a 2016 Fiat pickup truck. Clough slid off the roadway into a ditch due to icy road conditions. No injuries were reported. 

    Fuller investigated an accident on Atlantic Highway at 1:53 p.m. Bryon Saavedra, 54, of Walpole, was driving a 1998 Ford pickup truck. Saavedra slid off the roadway and into a ditch causing damage to the front and side of his vehicle. No injuries were reported. 

    Officer Thomas Bartunek is investigating a report from a citizen that he is receiving harassing phone calls.

    Dec. 14

    Dale Boyington, 39, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Larry Hesseltine for terrorizing and unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs. 

    Dec. 15

    Brian Lifer, 26, of Jemison, Ala., was arrested by Bartunek for operating under the influence.

    Dec. 16

    Bartunek is investigating a report from a citizen that someone stole propane from his tanks.
