Waldoboro Police beat: Drug possession, stolen Patriots football cup

    WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 91 calls for service from Nov. 15-21. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Nov. 15    

    Brandon Betts, 19, of Warren, was arrested by Officer Chris Spear on a warrant.

    Peter Graham, 18, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Spear for the sale and use of drug paraphernalia. 

    Nov. 18                   

    Spear is investigating a report from the Medomak Valley High School of criminal mischief done in the parking lot. 

    Spear is investigating a report from Dunkin Donuts of the theft of a Patriots football cup. 

    Nov. 19 

    Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident on the Washington Road at 2:07 a.m. Alexiee McPhee, 24, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet utility vehicle. McPhee was traveling southbound following the roadway when a deer ran out in front of vehicle. She was unable to avoid hitting the deer. No injuries were reported.  

    Spear is investigating a report from a citizen of the theft of medication. 

    Nov. 20  

    Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated a report from a citizen that she is being verbally harassed. Subject was found and warned on harassment. 

    Nov. 21                   

    Hesseltine is investigating a report from a citizen of a possible identity theft. 

    A 17-year-old female juvenile, of Warren, was issued a summons by Spear for possession of liquor by a minor. 

    Hesseltine is investigating a report from a citizen that he had an inspection sticker stolen off his truck.
