Waldoboro Police beat: Drug possession, speeding

    WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 138 calls for service from Sept. 12-19. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. 

    Sept. 12    

    Jacob Ingrham, 21, of Union, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Spear for unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and sale/use of drug paraphernalia. 

    Sept. 13     

    Timothy Marsters, 25, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Larry Hesseltine for operating a motor vehicle without a license. 

    Ashley Chaisty, 21, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for permitting unauthorized use. 

    Sept. 14      

    Frank Guptil, 17, of Friendship, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for speed. 

    Zachary Rogachoff, 19, of Washington, was issued a summons by Spear for speed and operating a vehicle with excessive noise. 

    Sept. 15     

    Hesseltine is investigating a report from a citizen that criminal mischief was done to his lawn. 

    Sept. 16    

    Hesseltine investigated an accident on the Washington Road at 7:30 a.m. Sean O’Donnell, 50, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2015 Ford pickup truck. Olivia Merryman, 18, of Harpswell, was driving a 2002 Subaru sedan. O’Donnell was traveling southbound following the roadway on the Washington Road. Merryman was traveling northbound on the Washington Road, making a left turn and improper turn in front of O’Donnell’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. 

    Hesseltine is investigating a report from a citizen of damage done to the canvas top of his pickup. 

    Sept. 17     

    Hannah Hewes, 19, of Pemaquid, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for speed.                   

    Taylor Jackson, 18, of East Boothbay, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for speed.

    Melissa Fortune, 40, of Washington, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for speed.

    Christina Feener, 23, of Northport, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for failure to show proof of insurance.
