    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity March 4-11. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

    Feb. 10 (late entry)

    Deputy Daniel Thompson responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident on Stream Road in Winterport, where an operator lost control of their vehicle on slushy roads. The vehicle, a 2012 Subaru, struck a guardrail before traveling across the center lines and opposite lane of travel. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment where it ultimately came to rest. The driver and their two passengers were all uninjured in the crash. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

    March 4

    Donald A. Smith, 42, of Orland, was arrested for operating under the influence on Maple Street in Stockton Springs.

    March 5

    Colton J. Ridley, 19, of Belfast, was arrested for operating under the influence on Patterson Hill Road in Belfast.

    March 10

    William R. Johnson, 33, of Stockton Springs, was issued a summons for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person on Old County Road in Stockton Springs.

    March 11

    Trey Harford, 24, of Swanville , was arrested for a probation hold.
