Waldo County Sheriff’s Office beat: criminal threatening, inadequate tire

    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Oct. 14 -28. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Oct. 14

    Dean W. Frost, 49, of Swanville, was issued summonses for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence terrorizing with a dangerous weapon in Swanville.

    Oct. 15

    Mara L. Littlefield, 25, of Brooks, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Bear Trap Road in Brooks.

    Oct. 17

    Jason L. Fogg, 24, of Winterport, was issued a summons for refusing to submit to arrest or detention, violating conditions of release on Boston Road in Winterport stemming from an incident Oct. 17 and violating conditions of release.

    Oct. 18

    Allen L. Fogg, 25, of Warren, was issued summonses for refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Boston Road in Winterport and violating conditions of release (two counts) stemming from an incident. 

    Oct. 19

    Mathew W. Sidar, 26, of Swanville, was issued summonses for operating under the influence in Swanville.

    Oct. 20

    Deputy Daniel Thompson responded to the scene of a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Upper Oak Hill Road and Swan Lake Avenue in Swanville where the operator of one vehicle, which was waiting to turn onto Swan Lake Avenue from Frankfort Road, struck a vehicle already traveling on Swan Lake Avenue. Both vehicles were towed. There were no injuries.

    Oct. 23

    Kayla Peak, 23, of Brooks, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance on Moosehead Trail in Waldo.

    Oct. 24

    Eric Gobin, 37, of Searsport, was issued a summons for speeding 49 mph in a 25 mph zone on Mount Ephraim Road in Searsport.

    Arthur Herbest, 20, of Hancock, was issued summonses for an inspection sticker violation and operating with an inadequate tire on East Main Street in Searsport.

    Oct. 26

    Dean E. Spaulding, 36, of Troy, was issued summonses for leaving the scene of a property damage accident on North Palermo Road in Freedom, falsifying physical evidence and failure to give notice of an accident by quickest means.
