    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Oct. 4-12. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Aug. 8 (late entry)

    Samantha R. McLean, 20, of Sidney, was issued summonses for operating under the influence and leaving a personal injury accident on Greeley Street in Freedom, stemming from an incident July 28.

    Aug. 24 (late entry)

    Christian R. Zuniga, 25, of Knox, was issued summonses for leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, driving to endanger, and operating without license on Shibles Road in Knox, stemming from an incident Aug. 21.

    Sept. 16

    Brittany T. Turner, 26, of Unity, was issued a summons for criminal trespass on Depot Street in Unity.

    Sept. 21

    Dakota S. Raven, 21, of Knox, was issued summonses for operating after suspension and attaching false plates on Hunter Road in Unity.

    Daniel J. Dourent, 57, of Montville, was issued a summons for failure to comply with the Sex Offender Registry Act on South Mountain Highway in Montville, stemming from an incident Aug. 19.

    Sept. 22

    Jacob M. Rose, 18, of Brooks, was issued a summons for possession of alcohol by a minor via consumption on Abbott Road in Knox.

    Sept. 24

    George R. Russell, 29, of Thorndike, was issued a summons for a seat belt violation on Crosby Brook Road in Unity.

    Sept. 25

    Brandi Nickerson, 33, of Frankfort, was issued summonses for operating under the influence and operating without license (beyond condition/restriction) on Route 7 in Waldo.

    Sept. 26

    Tyana C. Chadwick, 21, of Prospect, was arrested for domestic violence terrorizing and aggravated assault on Swan Lake Avenue in Swanville.

    Deputy Cassandra McDonald responded to a single-vehicle accident on Boston Road in Winterport. The juvenile operating the vehicle reportedly became distracted while driving, ultimately leaving the roadway. The 2016 Nissan continued through several bushes before striking a tree. The driver, who was wearing his seat belt,  sustained a possible injury. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

    Sept. 27

    Meg M. Jackson, 53, of Swanville, was issued a summons for attaching false plates on Hall Hill Road in Brooks.

    Sept. 28

    Deputy Cassandra McDonald responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident on North Searsport Road in Swanville. The driver reportedly said they were driving with the aid of a GPS device, waiting to learn whether the next turn would be to the right or left. The Garmin did not specify the turn would be left until the last second, causing the driver to strike a guardrail. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured, as was a toddler passenger. A second passenger sustained possible injury. The 2001 Nissan sustained functional damage.

    Sept. 29

    Joshua A. Sanborn, 37, of Jackson, was issued summonses for operating after suspension and leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Dodge Road in Jackson.

    Tracy A. Parker, 47, of Winterport, was arrested for aggravated assault on Swanville Road in Frankfort.

    Sept 30

    Michael Clark, 55, of Swanville, was arrested for operating under the influence.

    Oct. 1

    Adam Flood, 35, of Searsmont, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Belfast Road in Searsmont.

    Fern E. Marlborough, 40, of Lincolnville, was arrested for operating without a license in violation of conditions of release on Searsmont Road in Lincolnville. She was also issued summonses for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, assault (two counts), and disorderly conduct.

    Oct. 4

    Deputy Cassandra McDonald responded to the scene of a deer vs. vehicle accident on Route 1 in Northport. The driver was uninjured and the vehicle sustained functional damage.

    Oct. 6

    Corporal Darrin Moody responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on North Searsport Road in Swanville. The driver of a 2010 Toyota was traveling southbound and failed to keep in the proper lane, ultimately failing to navigate a sharp right turn and leaving the roadway. The vehicle instead traveled straight, crossing the northbound lane and striking a guardrail The driver, who was listed as either fatigued or asleep at the time of the incident, was uninjured. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

    Lottie Wincapaw, 26, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Main Street in Searsmont.

    Oct. 7

    Roland Ladd, 47, of Swanville, was arrested for violating conditions of release on Back Brooks Road in Swanville.

    Deputy Cassandra McDonald responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on Route 1 in Northport. The operator of a 2007 Saab was following a second vehicle when that vehicle slowed to turn. The owner of the Saab stated that the vehicle ahead of her, a 2016 Hyundai, had slowed to turn after activating their left turn signal. The woman attempted to pass the turning vehicle on the right, when the Hyundai began to turn right instead, resulting in a collision. The driver of the Hyundai stated they had activated their right turn signal, not their left, in an attempt to get away from the Saab, which they said had been following too closely. Both vehicles sustained functional damage. The driver of the Saab was uninjured, as was the driver of the Hyundai and their two passengers.

    Oct. 11

    Dakota Raven, 21, was issued a summons for violating a protection from abuse order on Mill Street in Freedom.
