    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Jan. 9-20. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Jan. 9

    Deputy Darrin Moody responded to the scene of a two vehicle accident on Augusta Road in Morrill. The operator of a 2004 Honda pulled out of B & M Market and attempted to cross Augusta Road to pull into a driveway. The operator of the Honda failed to yield the right of way to a 2011 Jeep driving west, which caused the two vehicles to collide. Both were towed from the scene. The operators of both vehicles were uninjured, though a passenger in the Jeep reported possible injury.

    Jan. 10

    Deputy Moody responded to the scene of a single vehicle accident North Palermo Road in Palermo where the operator was traveling too fast for the snowy road conditions. The driver’s 2003 Kia slid across the center line as the attempted to navigate a corner, leaving the roadway in the opposite lane of travel and striking a snowbank. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the operator reported possible injury. 

    Jan. 11

    Christopher R. Pariseau, 45, of Brooks, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 139 in Brooks. 

    Jan. 16

    Sarah Rodgers, 31, of Brooks, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 7 in Brooks.

    Jan. 17

    Deputy Moody responded to the scene of a deer vs. vehicle accident on Jackson Road in Monroe. The vehicle sustained minor damage and both driver and passenger were uninjured. 

    Deputy Moody responded to the scene of a deer vs. vehicle accident on Main Street in Searsport. The driver was uninjured. 

    Jan. 18

    Deputy Moody responded to the scene of a deer vs. vehicle accident on Monroe Road in Winterport. The driver was uninjured.
