The Waldo Encourages Community Assisted Recovery Efforts organization needs a logo it hopes will express their mission to build a collaborative and non-judgmental environment to support addiction recovery through education, advocacy and compassionate community action.

WeCARE strives to promote recovery and concern for all who suffer from the diseases of untreated alcoholism and substance abuse, and to end the shame attached to the diseases.

The logo contest is open to all ages, and the winner will receive a basket of prizes and cash worth more than $250. The winning logo, along with other entries, will be on display at the Belfast Police Department during the annual "Belfast By The Bay" New Year’s Eve celebration.

Logo submissions, along with a completed entry form, must be in possession of WeCARE by Dec. 1. Entries should be dropped off at the Belfast Police Department at 112 Church St.
