ROCKPORT — Aldermere Farm and Erickson Fields Preserves consist of more than 200 acres with close to 50 buildings, 16 pastures and roughly five miles of fencing, as well as floral and vegetable gardens, special events and Belted Galloway cattle.

The staff work to care for the herd and maintain the facilities, but could use help.

There are many ways to help through volunteering at the preserves from harvesting vegetables, mending fences, general carpentry and maintenance, to helping staff the visitor center.
