FRIDAY — The U.S. National Toboggan Championships organizing committee hosted news reporters from around the state Friday, providing commentary and fielding questions about the upcoming races, Feb. 10-12, as well as status on ice conditions both on Hosmer Pond and in the chute.

It was a cold day in Tobogganville, which provided for fast runs for the journalists and camera operators who were brave enough to take a run.

Friday morning also saw another committee meeting, during which it was decided to extend toboggan team registrations until Wednesday, Feb. 8, to give racers a little more time to make plans and commit to coming to Camden for the weekend.

Check out the video and see if you have what it takes to climb aboard a wooden toboggan and slide down the chute!
