Tammera K. Arnold-Lewis, a resident of Warren, passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 4, 2017.

Tammie was born to Joe Arnold and Patricia Weaver on September 30, 1965. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Arnold.

Tammie is survived by her husband, Alton Lewis, of the home, her mother, Patricia Weaver, and husband Raymond; three children, Darrin Upton and wife Pennie, of Warren; daughter Terra Neal, of Quapaw, Oklahoma; son Shawn Jones, of Warren; four grandchildren, Lucas, Kolton, Noah and Gabriella; sisters Jodi, Tracy, Jamie, Joey; and many nieces, and nephews. She also leaves behind several friends and many of those she considered family.

Tammy moved to Maine in 1987 from the Joplin, Missouri, area. While living in Maine, she had several accomplishments, including receiving her cosmetology license, earning three degrees in substance abuse rehabilitation as a technician, social services and an associate of arts from the University of Maine at Augusta. She assisted with organizations her children were involved in, such as cub scouts and girl scouts. Tammy also assisted her mother for years with the breast cancer walk.

Tammy had a big heart and always looked for ways to help others. When she loved you, you were more than just a friend to her, you became family.

Tammy enjoyed spending time outdoors, riding four-wheelers, fishing, catching lobster but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Tammy cherished her time at the beach especially with her best friend, Kelly; they made many memories together. Tammy's big heart and contagious smile will be missed but she will forever live within our hearts.

A celebration of life is being held on her birthday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m. at the Legion Hall on Starr St. in Thomaston (behind the block.)
