UNITY — Stanley B. Mitchell, 56, passed away at his residence in Unity on Aug. 2, 2015. He was born in Unity on Oct. 27, 1958.

Stanley attended school in Unity and Thorndike and drove trucks for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Mitchell. Stanley is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Wilberta Mitchell; his children, Mandy Erving of St. Albans, Prudence Reeves of Davenport, Iowa, and twins Brandy Kimball of Thorndike and Jessica Emery of Norfolk, Va.; two sisters, Jeanne Burger of New York and Peggy Frederich of South Dakota; four step-brothers, Dale, Randy, Richard and Scott Crawford; as well as 10 grandchildren; and his dog, Ginger, who traveled to 48 states and Canada with him.

A private burial will be held for the family.
