BIDDEFORD — Six recent Midcoast high school graduates participated in the 25th annual Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl, presented by Kora Shriners, July 19 at Biddeford’s Waterhouse Field.

The East squad defeated the West for the second straight year by a score of 32-13. 

Proceeds from the event benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children around the nation. 

No local cheerleaders accepted invitations to participate in the event. 

Participants from area football programs included:

• Garrett Burns, Oceanside, tight end 
• Gregory Clark, Belfast, wide receiver 
• Zachary Collier, Belfast, defensive back
• Connor Graffam, Camden Hills, defensive end 
• Christopher Spaulding, Mt. View, defensive lineman
• Clint Spualding, Mt. View, offensive lineman

 All but Burns played on the East team.
