Simple and do-able tips for using less plastic, a talk with local business owner

Claire T. Weinberg, the mom in the mother-daughter seaweed skincare business Dulse & Rugosa, will be speaking at the Camden Public Library on May 22, at 7 p.m. The Zero Waste and Plastic Free movements are focused on your own personal plastic use and reducing your pollution footprint. 
 
 
Most of what humans use is single-use plastic, and it can take plastic up to 1,000 years to break down. Even then, microscopic bits of plastic linger far longer. Plastic is deadly to wildlife and dangerous to humans too.The time has long since come to reduce our plastic use.  
 
Said Weinberg: "For me, it helps if there is a plan that is structured for success. Small steps work best. I don’t recommend giving up plastic 'cold turkey', that’s guaranteed to be frustrating.” Come hear some simple and do-able tips for using less plastic in your life.
