THOMASTON — Seth A. Richardson, 60, passed away on Feb. 12, 2017, at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, following a sudden illness.

Born Aug. 22, 1956, in Laconia, N.H., he was the son of Allan H. Jr. and Joy K. Richardson.

Seth grew up in Bedford, N.H., and attended elementary school there. He later attended The Derryfield School, where he graduated with the class of 1974.

Seth loved the outdoors and spent his early working years on the schooners out of Camden Harbor in Maine. He also spent several years as a chef in some of the fine restaurants in Camden. At the time of his death, Seth was employed as a finish carpenter for Back Cove Yachts.

Predeceased by his mother, Joy K. Richardson in 1989; Seth leaves behind his father and stepmother, Allan H. Jr. and Evelyn Richardson of East Washington, N.H.; his brother, Dan Richardson of Manchester, N.H.; two nephews, Scott Richardson of Manchester, N.H., and Michael Richardson and his wife, Crystal, of Dover, N.H.; as well as a niece, Claire Joy Richardson of Dover, N.H.

Private services in the spring will be at the convenience of the family.
