Varsity Boys Soccer: Camden Hills 8, Oceanside 0
(By Ryan Hurley)

Lucas Boetsch got this rivalry game started in style when he again blasted a free kick into the back of the Oceanside net from 50 yards out to make it 1-0 at the 33 minute mark of the first half.

Quinn Brown finished off a nice header a mere 12 seconds later off a Will Nickerson assist.

Ben Owre took another great feed from Will Nickerson and slotted it home with 26:05 remaining in the half.

Nickerson opened the scoring in the second half with Owre assisting. Owre would score again at 28:57 with Nickerson assisting. Adam Thorndike would add a goal at 10:31. Bryce Tyler would close out the scoring by adding two goals of his own at 10:23 and 8:53 of the half.

Boetsch made zero saves on zero Oceanside shots to preserve the shutout. Counterpart C. Powell would make 22 saves on 37 Camden Hills shots.

Camden Hills had 11 corners and Oceanside had zero corners.

It was good to get a chance to play one of our rivals once again. I thought we moved the ball really well, made good decisions and finished some good chances. It was a little slick with the rain but we did well to keep the ball. We're looking forward to a huge game against a great Lewiston team on Friday.
