Seeking information on Lincolnville Kendall descendants for local history project

As part of a Lincolnville history project I am looking for information on descendants of Thomas and Mary Ann Davis Kendall who moved to Lincolnville in 1836. Thomas was from Hope and Mary Ann from Appleton and they purchased 100 acres with a mill and a house on what is now called Kendall Brook. The house still stands today and is recognized as the Kendall Farm.

We know that they had at least seven children:

Miles, who died in 1849 at the age of 20. Other than his gravestone in what is now called Kendall Cemetery (in Lincolnville) I can find no record of him. Of the Kendall gravestones found in Lincolnville, his is the only one with more than initials on it.

Gilbreth, (sometimes spelled Gilbert). He was born about 1830 and shows up in the 1860 census as age 29 and incapacitated due to consumption. It appears he died soon after. He was unmarried and had worked in the mill until he fell ill. He is probably buried in the Kendall Cemetery.

Martha Ann Kendall (she and her sister Mary Augusta, are sometimes merged into one person). Martha was born in 1832, and married John Shapland. They moved to LaSalle County in Illinois where they raised four children before they moved to Nebraska where she died in 1930 and is buried.

Mary Augusta was born in 1834 and lived in Camden and Augusta where she died in 1918. There is no record of a husband or children.

Nancy S.Kendall. She married Robert H. Grant and moved to Beverly, Mass., where she died in 1925, and is buried. She was Robert’s second wife and they had no known children.

Sarah H. Kendall. She married T.J. Hopkins and lived in Camden but nothing more is known.

Charles Kendall. The youngest child, born in 1843. He was the miller after his father died sometime between 1860 and 1870.  He never married and may have died about 1894. He is buried in the Kendall Cemetery.

Charles, his mother, with whom he lived, and his sisters sold the mill and house in 1894. Mary, we believe, died around that time as well and is probably buried in the Kendall Cemetery.

Miles’ gravestone is clearly marked in the cemetery but there are three other standing stones: one marked MK (probably Mary,) another marked CK (probably Charles) and a third marked JK (it is unknown who this is but perhaps might be a mistake meant to be for Gilberth?) There is one stone which has fallen over and cannot be read. It is most likely that of Thomas.

We would like to know where the descendants of this family are today to see if they could fill in some blanks on their family members, especially the members we know so little about: Mary Augusta, JK (Gilberth?), Sarah Kendall Hopkins, Miles, Thomas himself, and also if there are any records about their life in Lincolnville.
